It's been a busy couple of days and I just now got around to sharing this lovely write up and interview posted by the Houston Press this past Friday.
A big thank you to Olivia Alvarez at the Press for the recognition and for reaching out to me for the interview. Please take a look at the series for their profiles of the other brilliant creatives we have here in Houston.
I had the pleasure of doing a lifestyle photo shoot with Jenny a few weeks ago on a lovely peaceful and quiet, if slightly muggy Texas summer morning. Jenny practices and teaches Yoga here in Houston and was kind enough to be up & about rather early so we could shoot a sunrise Yoga practice. A few of the photographs from the shoot are below and in addition to being an excellent and gracious model, she made a lifesaving and tasty carafe of coffee which was sorely needed given how early our call time was :-).
The location is the Menil Park, on the grounds of the Rothko Chapel and the sculpture you see there in the background is The Broken Obelisk (by Barnett Newman), installed at this site in 1970.
